Paxlovid is an oral medicine taken as tablets being introduced into Ireland this week to treat COVID-19. 

 

Heart and Lung Transplant Clinic have advised that Paxlovid is not a suitable drug for post heart or lung transplant recipients due to a severe drug-drug interaction.
