See below for information on how to get your booster dose - you can use any of the options outlined in the next section.

COVID-19 vaccine booster

People aged 16 and older can get their COVID-19 vaccine booster dose now. Find more information on the different options you have to get your vaccine booster here. You can book your own booster appointment for many vaccination centres online through the HSE website using the online self-scheduler here. You can also get your booster at many pharmacies and you’ll find a list on here. Some GPs are also vaccinating their patients.

You need to wait at least 3 months (90 days) after your vaccine course before you can get a booster dose. If you have had COVID-19 since you were vaccinated you should get your booster dose at least 3 months after your positive result.

JustSayYes - 9th October 2021

9 October 2021 - European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation

“JustSayYes” – Let people know you are a donor – this is the slogan of the 2021 edition of the European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation, which aims at raising awareness about organ, tissue and cell donation and the importance for people to make their wishes known to their loved ones.

On this occasion, the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) of the Council of Europe is leading an online campaign (#JustSayYesEODD).

One single donor can save up to eight lives through organ donation and save or improve more than 100 lives through tissue donation! In 2020, 35 529 organ transplants were performed in Europe, while 43 183 new patients were added to a waiting list.
