Our Christmas newsletter has been printed and we envisage mailing it this week. A pivotal part of keeping in touch with our members, it contains information relating to events over the past six months and tentative plans for activities in 2016.

Please note that our Christmas Cards will be available in the Mater Hospital (Transplant Unit, Level 7, Whitty Wing) and on request from Committee members in the lead up to the holiday season. All funds raised through this effort will go directly to the IHLTA. The provision of assistance to our members is extremely important to us, and especially difficult given that we are an entirely self-funded entity recieving absolutely no government support. The cards also contain a message exhalting one of the key merits of organ donation, that being 'one organ donor can save the lives of up to seven people' - a message printed on the back of each card.

Due to constraints beyond our control, the Mater Hospital is not in a position to provide us with contact information for transplant recipients.
