We are pleased to announce that we have recently set up a Twitter account for the Irish Heart and Lung Transplant Association.

We aim to use this account in conjunction with this website and our very active Facebook page to keep members up to date with the very latest news and events.

Transplant Games Fundraiser April 29

As April flies by, we would like to remind everyone that fellow IHLTA member, Seamus Eager, is organising a fundraising concert in The Purty Kitchen, Old Dunleary Road, Monkstown, Co. Dublin on Friday 29th April.

All the proceeds from the night will go towards assisting athletes in travelling to the European Heart and Lung Transplant Games in Vantaa, Finland this July.

FIve Nations Golf Tournament

We have been made aware of a golf tournament taking place this June Bank Holiday for transplant recipients. We would urge interested members to contact us.

The details are as follows:

TS Five Nations Golf Tournament 2016

3 - 4 June 2016

Lough Erne Resort, Northern Ireland

Where will I stay?

We've booked a mixture of 2 & 3 bedroom luxuary bungalows at the resort.

How much will it cost?

2 rounds of golf and 2 nights B&B

Transplant recipient                                   £200

Non transplant recipient                           £250

Non golfers                                                   £70 per night for B&B

Participants will need to make their own travel arrangements Alternative accomodation may also be sought.



Changing Times at the IHLTA

Our recent AGM saw our long term secretary, Romy Moloney, step down from her role with the IHLTA.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Romy for her hard work and dedication over the past number of years.
